SQUADRON RE-UNION DINNER, SATURDAY 12 JULY 2008
Following our recent announcement of a Re-Union Dinner of 46F (Kensington) Squadron, Air
Training Corps the response has been overwhelming! Many ex members from as far afield as New
Zealand, Hong Kong, USA, Norfolk and Scotland have contacted us. Thank you to everyone who
has already expressed a wish to be there and welcome to anyone who missed the initial letter
blogged on our website and the mailshot by email.
I am delighted to invite you to join us for an evening of good wine, food and company. We hope to
make it a very special night for everyone and you’ll receive a commemorative photo of the occasion.
The event is open to all former members and friends of the Squadron and their partners.
The evening will start with a champagne reception in the Squadron Headquarters followed by a
three course dinner with coffee accompanied by wine and port at a cost of £25-00. After dinner
drinks will be served in the University of London Officers Mess with disco for those who would rather
dance than talk! We will have collections of old photos for you to peruse and you’ll be able to order
prints. All proceeds will go towards our two week summer adventure training expedition to Scotland.
Dress is No5 Service Dress, Black Tie with decorations
The nearest tube stations are South Kensington and Knightsbridge, we have some limited parking at
the Squadron and this is available through prior arrangement.
In order to secure your place please can we have your returns in by no later than Friday 20 June
2008. Initial responses suggest that demand will be high and will exceed capacity so please get your
orders in as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment. Please supply your address so that a
formal invitation can be posted to you.
A programme of events is attached along with the order form for tickets. If you have any queries
please do not hesitate to contact me.
